Disclaimer and risk warning
Tokenized stocks and other crypto assets can lose value quickly, and you can lose all of the money you put in. Please read this page before acting on anything else on stok24.
Information, not advice
Everything on stok24 is general information and explanation of how products and screens work. None of it is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and none of it is an offer, a solicitation or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Whether to trade, how much and when are your decisions. If you need advice fitted to your situation, speak to a qualified professional where you live.
stok24 is not Binance
stok24 is an independent information site. It is not an official Binance website, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Binance. Binance's own pages, terms and announcements are the final word on its products and rules.
stok24 may earn a commission when readers sign up to Binance through the referral link in our sign-up guide; that guide is the only page with such a link. Any fee rebate offered to new users, including the actual rate, which products count, which regions qualify, the conditions and how long it lasts, is set by Binance and shown on its sign-up page at the time, within your local terms. stok24 doesn't set or guarantee any of it. Rebates come out of trading fees you actually pay, so trades that carry no fee earn nothing back. The same goes for our side: Binance's referral FAQ says no commission is generated from trades that carry no trading fee.
Who bStocks are offered to
Binance's wording on this is exact, so we quote it. The disclaimer on its Academy guide to bStocks says: "bStocks are offered through an Approved Prospectus in the ADGM and are not offered in any other jurisdiction. No public offer is made outside of the ADGM. Tokenized Securities are available only to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions on a secondary market basis only." The same text continues: "Tokenized Securities are not offered, sold, distributed, made available, or accessible in the United States or to, or for the account or benefit of, U.S. persons."
In short, Binance offers bStocks through a prospectus approved in the ADGM (Abu Dhabi Global Market), to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions only, and not to US persons. It doesn't publish a country list on the pages we read, so the eligibility shown in your own account, read with your local rules, is the answer. Binance itself isn't available everywhere either. We won't suggest ways around a restriction; Binance says it may restrict, cancel or unwind transactions that breach eligibility rules.
Local law comes first
Rules on crypto assets and tokenized securities vary from one place to another and keep changing. Something you can open on Binance may still be restricted, reportable or taxed differently where you live. Checking that is your responsibility, and nothing on stok24 replaces it.
The risks
Binance's Academy guide lists the risks of bStocks under seven headings. Here they are with the points we would add from its bStocks FAQ:
- Market risk. A bStock rises and falls with the stock behind it. The 1:1 backing doesn't protect you from a falling price.
- Liquidity risk. Trading volumes vary, which can make it harder to buy or sell at the price you want. The FAQ also says a bStock may trade at a premium or discount to the underlying stock.
- Issuer and custody risk. bStocks depend on the issuer and a regulated custodian keeping the backing in place. The FAQ states: "Neither SIPC nor FDIC coverage applies to bStocks."
- Regulatory risk. Availability depends on regulatory approval and may change.
- Technology and operational risk. Smart contract issues, network disruptions or maintenance can interrupt service.
- Tax risk. Withholding taxes and other tax obligations may apply. How your own country treats the position is a question for a tax adviser.
- Geographic restrictions. bStocks aren't available in every jurisdiction and aren't offered to US persons.
Other crypto assets you might trade on Binance carry their own risks, which this list doesn't cover.
Fees
Binance's bStocks FAQ, updated 28 July 2026, lists "Zero commission, zero custody fee, zero management fee, zero conversion fee" and adds "Network fees and trading spreads may apply." Binance's bStocks landing page says there is no commission, custody or management fee "to tokenize or convert back" and that "Standard spot trading fees apply." We read both in September 2026. Because the two pages put it differently, we don't describe bStock trades as free: the order confirmation shows what your order is charged. The stock side of the platform has its own charges, and we don't publish rates for it.
How current this is
Binance changes fees, limits, listings and promotions without telling us. Our pages give the date each official source was read, and they can fall behind. If what you see on Binance differs from what we wrote, Binance is right, and we would like to hear about it at [email protected].
